Good morning all. Please make sure your talk to your player about some things before you pay $350+ for them to be on this year’s softball team. As you know, we do not have a JV team due to a lack of players. This means that all 15 girls will dress varsity. I want to be clear that this does not mean all 15 girls will get playing time. The players’ fee is not a guarantee to get varsity innings. I believe it is important to be up front to avoid conflict down the road. I have built a schedule in the efforts of earning Campbell’s first fast pitch state tournament bid. Every inning we play will be geared towards achieving that goal. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to an enjoyable season.
As discussed in the Parent Meeting this week, player fees have been finalized. The player fees for 2017 are $352.19 per player. A breakdown of expenses to operate the team this year is below.
Player fees are due Saturday, August 5, and can be brought to the 100 Inning game or mailed to:

Jersey, belt, socks $1,650.00
Tournament Fees $820.00
Field maintenance $1,125.00
Operating Costs (Balls, umpires, admin, etc) $1,640.00
Booster fees x 16 $400.00
Thank you everyone for trying out. We had 18 girls try out and we will be keeping all 18. We will be having a Varsity and JV team. I will tell the players which team they will be placed, tomorrow.
Please plan on attending the parent meeting tomorrow at 6pm, in room 703.
