Spartan Softball

Good morning! Please remember that we will play our 100 inning game tomorrow. Players need to arrive at the field no later than 6:45am. We will play all day until the 100th inning is over. My main concern at this point is getting the girls to field on time to play. We have several members of the community and parents who are putting their lives on hold to help our team on this very long day. The last thing that I want is for our players to disrespect the efforts of so many by sleeping in. I need your help in getting your player to field on time. We will provide food and drink for the players throughout the day. 678-570-2559 if you have any questions.

We will be playing a double header at Westlake . The first game is at 6pm. I plan on being at CHS around 3:00pm if anyone would like to hit in the cage. We will need to leave CHS and head to Westlake at 4:15pm. I have room for 3 players in my vehicle. Mrs. Spivey has room for 4 players in her vehicle. We will transport to Westlake and back to CHS at the conclusion of the games. Players will call parents for rides from CHS. You can also drive straight to Westlake and meet us around 5:30pm and leave with parents. You will be on your own for food and drink so come with some food or some money.
Please wear black softball pants and a grey t-shirt. Please do not stress if you do not have either. Just come ready to play and we’ll get you in there. This will be a chance for everyone to see some game action. 678-570-2559 if you have any questions or concerns.

Good morning Spartans. I am posting our 2015 Softball Budget for your review. I will update this budget when money is received or spent. I want our finances to be as transparent as possible as I believe it will help you understand where your player fees, donations, sponsorship are being collected/spent. We have 2 separate accounts. One account that will go to tournament fees, uniform needs, and field maintenance, etc.. The other account has been designated as our dugout account. Keep in mind that we also have booster club account that is currently being set up. I will give those details when I have them. I cannot stress enough how important it is for us to fund raise and/or pay our player fees. We currently have 40 play dates on the calendar for between JV/Varsity. We need game balls, field paint, gas for mowers, weed and ant killer, fertilizer, clay, bases, and tournament fees.

In the past the program has just played a limited amount of games and only fielded a varsity team. We are now playing 28 varsity games and I would like to schedule 17 JV games. Campbell Softball is on the way up and we need your help in making it happen. Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Parents. I will need your help at the 100 inning game. I will be involved in the game an will need help with feeding the kids, collecting money, and running a concession stand. PLEASE remind your player to collect pledges. 100 inning is a lot of softball to play for free.

June 8th we will be playing a double header @ Westlake High School. First game starts at 6pm. ALL players are invited to attend and will play. Wear black pants and a grey t-shirt. June 9th- OFF

June 10th we will have a 100 inning game. REMEMBER TO GET YOUR PLEDGES/SHEETS FILLED OUT. Encourage family and friends to come support you.

June 11th- We will play a double header at Pope High School. First game is 11am. I will contact players who I want to play in those games.
